The cap for wine or spirit bottles is intended to avoid tax fraud. The cap comprises a top part (1) which covers the bottle mouth. The cap lower part (2), surrounding the bottle neck, is connected to the top part by a detachable edging (3) on which is carried obligatory fiscal information. The transparent top part of the cap leaves visible the bottle cork.
