It is a method of polymerization of hydrophilic monomers into inverse suspension in the presence of a surfactant with an hlb of between 8 and 12, comprising a first stage of polymerization with a phase inversion, and then a second step during which a second monomer charge is introduced into the reactor to the polymerization temperature of the monomer.
