Method of adaptive filtering of the signals in order to reduce the effect of blocking and the noise of oscillation of the image data. A gradient of the image data is calculated for each pixel. The data of the gradient of each pixel are compared with a threshold value global (tg) and an item of maps of the edge of the pixel is produced. The data of the gradient of each pixel are compared with a threshold value (tn) and local information maps of the edge of the pixel is produced. An operation or is made between the information of the edge maps global and the information of maps of the edge area to produce a binary edge maps information. A window of the filter is applied in order to determine if the edges exist in the window of the filter on the basis of information on the edge maps.
