The device includes devices (20,22,24) provided for modulating an optical beam of a beam emitted by a micro-laser. Other devices (28) are available for supplying a signal dependent upon the Doppler frequency FD = (2V divided by lambda) in which lambda is the micro-laser emission wavelength and V is the speed of a target (2) to be detected.
