The endoprosthesis has a one-piece structure, e.g. of stainless steel, and is made with a series of wavy sections (7a, 7b, 7c) linked by parallel connecting bars (9) set in staggered rows. The connecting bars are in a double Y-shape, joined by their stems and having their forked ends forming part of the wavy sections. The implant can be compressed for insertion and deployed radially when in position.
