PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a daily report data collection system for taxis capable of combining an existing electronic taxi meter and a position data generation means and easily gathering daily report data including get-on/get-off place data without raising the total cost of the system. ;SOLUTION: A state change detection means 31a-1 inputs business/empty car signals from the electronic taxi meter 6, outputs state change signals corresponding to the level of the inputted business/empty car signals to a position data collecting device 2 and reports that a business state and an empty car state are attained. When the supply of a battery power source is interrupted, a power source interruption detection means 34-1 inhibits the state change signals of the level corresponding to the level of the business/empty car signals from being outputted from the state change detection means to the position data gathering device. When a power source is restored, a power source restoration detection means 34-2 makes the state change signals at the point of time be outputted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
