PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration accompanying drilling by providing a discontinuous part on at least a male joint of a joint part, drilling the part thereof, and placing an anchor. ;SOLUTION: A male joint 3 and a female joint 4 connecting steel pipe piles 1, 1 are provided on both the outside faces of a steel pipe 2, position neighborhood for placing an anchor 15 on the male joint 3 is previously cut and removed over required length, and a discontinuous part 6 is formed. After the steel pipe piles 1, 1 are connected to each other, a specified part of the female joint 4 positioned at the discontinuous part 6 of the male joint 3 is penetrated, and an anchor hole 10 is drilled down to the ground B. After the anchor 15 is inserted in the anchor hole 10 and cement milk 20 is injected thereto, a mounting seat 12 is passed through the base part of the anchor 15, and a nut 22 is screwed and tightened.
