PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for energy rays curing considerably excellent in storing stability, capable of curing with an energy rays at low temperature in a short time, useful as a surface finishing agent such as paint, etc., a photosensitive printing ink material, etc., by including a cationically polymerizable organic compound, a specific polymerization initiator and a specific acid generating agent. SOLUTION: This resin composition includes as essential components, (A) a cationically polymerizable organic compound, (B) a cationic polymerization initiator having sensibility to energy rays, (C) an acid generating agent having autocatalytic acid emitting action by an acid emitted from the component B, comprising a cycloalkyl sulphonate expressed by formula I (n is 0 or 1; R1 and R2 are each an alkyl, and aryl or an aralkyl) or formula II (R3 is an alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl; R4 is H, methyl, hydroxymethyl or the like). The composition preferably includes 100 pts.wt. of the component A, 0.1-20 pts., especially 0.5-5 pts. of the component B and 0.1-20 pts., especially 0.1-10 pts. of the component C.
