Mountain region disaster prediction manner and system

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of data storing and transmitting means by enhancing accuracy of predicting a damage of a system for predicting disaster in a mountainous region. ;SOLUTION: An output signal of a rain gage 14 installed in an observation station 1 is recorded in a nonvolatile recorder 13 and transmitted to a radio unit 11 via an observing unit 12. A monitor controller 22 provided in a monitor station 2 receives precipitation information transmitted from the unit 11 via the unit 21, and transmits it to a processor 23. The processor 23 calculates water content in soil by considering geometrical state of an observing zone as the information is transmitted, and displays alarm notice or refuge information on a display unit 31 of a monitor station 3 based on the calculated result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
