PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start a car audio system body from a peripheral equipment with simple wiring. ;SOLUTION: In USB equipment 501, a detection part 512 detects a fact that a predetermined condition is satisfied. A start signal transmission part 514 sends a start signal to a main unit 1 when the fact the condition is satisfied is detected. In the main unit 1, a start signal reception part 184 detects the start signal. A power source control part 183 turns the power supply of the main unit 1 on when the start signal is detected. When the power supply is turned on based on the start signal, an inquiry part 185 inquires of each equipment about whether or not they send the start signal.
