PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a woven or a knitted fabric of polyester spun yarns having excellent antimicrobial properties in spite of shape stability, strength retention, or the like, possessed thereby. ;SOLUTION: The characteristic of this woven or knitted fabric of antimicrobial polyester spun yarns is to use the polyester spun yarns containing 40 wt.% of polyester fibers which have 0.1 m2 fiber surface area based on 1 g of the woven or knitted fabric, 200-700 molecular weight and 0.3-1.4 inorganic value/organic value and contain a pyridine-based antimicrobial agent having 2 m average particle diameter and to have 2.2 value of the bacteriostatic activity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
