PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform rendering of the object and model for volume measurement by connecting a start clip surface and an end clip surface to generate the next start clip surface and the next end clip surface and repeating the processing and generation of those clip surfaces until a stop condition is satisfied. ;SOLUTION: A start clip surface and an end clip surface are defined (step 410) and a volume part having prescribed relationship to the start clip surface and the end clip surface is processed (step 420). Then, the start clip surface and the end clip surface are connected, the next start clip surface is generated and the next end clip surface is also generated (step 430). Processing is repeatedly generated about the next start clip surface and the next end clip surface until a stop condition is satisfied.
