PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for preventing the damage to a finished material to effectively prevent the damage of a finishing material itself. ;SOLUTION: This fastener shooter is provided with a grip 2 provided at a rear end with an air intake port 1, a body 3 provided at the tip of the grip 2, a nose part 4 situated at the lower part of the body 3; and a magazine 6 to feed a fastener to the nose part 4. By operating a striking mechanism in the body 3 by compressed air fed through an air intake port 1, the fastener fed in the nose part 4 from the magazine 6 is shooting against the finishing material. In a so formed fastener shooter, protectors 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 for buffering are mounted on the upper end face of the body 3, the front surface and the two sides of the body 3 and the both sides of each of the grip 2 and the magazine 6 being parts in contact with the finishing material during the execution of a work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
