SHORT-CUT METHOD ON TRAFFIC BASIS AND SHORT-CUT ROUTER ON TRAFFIC BASIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the throughput of the Internet by reserving a short-cut path having already been established for a simultaneous and/or succeeding IP packet flow and using it so as to efficiently use the number of virtual channels its transmit an IP packet flow. ;SOLUTION: An Internet protocol(IP) packet flow suitable for transfer along a short-cut path is selected to set up the short-cut path for this flow. Then the flow is transferred on the short-cut path. This short-cut path is reserved and used to transfer additional or succeeding flow to be transferred on the short-cut path. A selection means SEL selects an IP packet flow where it is useful to transfer the flow not to its destination for each hop via the network but to transfer the flow along the short-cut path.
