PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting board, position detecting substrate, position detector, electronic component mounting method and method of manufacturing the position detector whereby the manufacturing process is simplified and the reliability of electronic components can be ensured. ;SOLUTION: The position detector comprises a case and board 13 housed therein, the board 13 has housing spaces 21 composed of continuous through- holes and cut spaces 22, the housing spaces 21 have shapes capable of housing three reed switches 14a-14c, each having two lead wires 23, and the cut spaces 22 are located at specified distances L1, L2, L3, each from both ends of the housing space 21 on the path of each lead wire 23 when each reed switch 14a-14c is housed in the housing space 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
