PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reflecting optical system operating equivalently to a double corner-cube optical system with a single incident light ray by an optical system obtained by optically superposing two corner-cube reflectors. ;SOLUTION: As incident light rays to a corner-cube reflector 10, in addition to a reflected light ray from the reflector 10 having a corner point P, there are following four ways of outputting another one reflecting light ray different according to an incident position or direction of the ray. (1) One case of directly introducing the ray to the reflector 10. (2) Another case of reflecting the incident ray by reflecting surfaces 11, 12 and finally arriving at a half-mirror 13. (3) Another case of introducing the ray to the surface 11, reflecting and arriving at the mirror 13. (4) The other of introducing and reflecting the ray by the surface 12 and arriving at the mirror 13. Thus, a configuration having the four cases of modes is obtained. An angle of a different axial direction or an angular displacement can be measured by moving the incident ray, and the configuration can be used to decide a cubic angle or angular displacement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
