PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deodorizing and purifying air using a ventilation hole in which the air flowing to the inside, e.g. in a room from the outside only by providing the ventilation hole, and a ventilation hole body portion used in this method. ;SOLUTION: This ventilation hole body portion 11 containing a ceramic powder or tourmaline powder having the function to deodorize and purify air in contact therewith is mounted on the ventilation hole, and the air passing through the ventilation hole body portion 11 is brought into contact with and opposite to ceramic powder to tourmaline powder to deodorize and purify the air. The ventilation hole body portion 11 is preferably formed of a material in which ceramic powder or tourmaline powder having the air deodorizing and purifying function is mixed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
