PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an internal standard reference material which is applicable to the electro-spray ionization method which is low in ionization efficiency by preparing the substance by adding alkaline metal ions to a main component composed of crown ether or dissolving the crown ether and a alkaline metal salt in a solvent. ;SOLUTION: A standard reference material used for precise mass spectrometry contains crown ether as the main component. The material is prepared by adding alkaline metal ions to the crown ether or by dissolving the crown ether and an alkaline metal salt in a solvent. The alkaline metal salt is an alkaline metal acetate and the alkaline metal is Na, K, Rb, or Cs. Since the acetic compound is formed by accepting the alkaline metal ions or alkaline earth metal ions in cavity sections, 64 kinds of varicolored acetic compounds having different mass numbers are obtained by combining four kinds of alkaline metal ions Na+, K+, Rb+, and Cs+ with, for example, 16 kinds of crown ether from 12-membered rings to 30-membered rings.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
