PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately change a product part configuration and manage needed parts by simultaneously connecting and displaying the configuration part information of a product with system part information such as a parts list. SOLUTION: A part configuration tree display and edition function 14 refers to information obtained by such a manner that a part retrieval function 12 retrieves and analyzes meta-data 103 and bulk data 104, edits how each product and assembly part are constituted of lower parts into a tree structure and outputs it. A matrix part table display and edition function 15 edits relationships to respective components corresponding to a product or assembly part to be displayed into a matrix state in the same manner and outputs it. The functions 14 and 15 are linked with each other and synchronize their respective display contents. Thus, it is possible to add the configuration information of a new product and to maintain the consistency between a configuration diagram for each product and an assembly part and a parts list.
