PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing a scrap of paperboard for assembling a corrugated fiberboard container which can surely remove scraps, which are produced when an adhesive flap left on a side edge of the adhesive flap is formed. ;SOLUTION: A device 1 for removing a scrap 17 hanging from a side edge of an adhesive flap 15 of a horizontally directed paperboard 2, being transported, for use in assembling a corrugated fiberboard container is provided along transportation path 3 of the paperboard 2. The device 1 includes rollers 19, 20, in pairs, which are provided beneath the passing point of the flap 15 and rotate in opposite directions to pull the scrap 17 downward, thereby removing it, and a drive means which rotationally drive the rollers 19, 20 in a direction in which the scrap 17 is rolled in.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
