Breast prostheses with reduced weight are made with three chambers, two filled with silicone and a central one filled with gas, microballoons or foam. A breast prosthesis is fabricated from a stratified film welded at the edge to form a series of chambers, particularly where the prosthesis is made from four layers of film to form three chambers, the outer two of which are filled with silicone and the central one of which is filled with gas or a supported spacing material such as microballoons or foam.
