ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A high-purity water producing apparatus has anexcellent effect of environmental protection and is alsocapable of effectively removing boron. It comprises apretreatment unit, and a double pass RO unit an EDI unit or adistillation unit or any combination thereof as principaldeionization unit(s) but does not comprise anychemical-regeneration type ion exchanger. It furthercomprises a boron removing unit and the water treated by theprincipal deionization unit(s) is brought into contact with aboron-selective ion exchange resin.
