the thermal barrier ceramic coating thickness has a columnar growth pattern regermination interrupted and repeated several times by successive deposition of a ceramic.the regermination is obtained by a process of chemical vapor deposition in which a pollutant gas is introduced intermittently during the deposition of the ceramic.the ceramic coating obtained has a thermal conductivity lower than that of the conventional columnar ceramic coatings.
