CDMA MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING METHOD FOR DATA COMPRESSION AND DATA DECOMPRESSION

PURPOSE: A Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) mobile communication system using a method for compressing data and decompressing the compressed data is provided to improve a data transferring efficiency and to apply to a mobile data service with a high transferring rate. CONSTITUTION: A CDMA mobile communication system contains; a moving station(100) containing a Data Compress/Decompress Function (DCDF) unit(101) for compressing and decompressing data; an interworking function(120) containing a DCDF(121) for decompressing the data transferred from the moving station and compressing the data received from a Public Switch Data Network (PSDN)(140); and a switching station(110) containing a selector and vocoder module.
