PURPOSE: A research method and system using the internet and research a method by lending research solution are provided to improve reliability for results obtained from a research-by-question by preparing a number of questions associated with each other, analyzing answers to the questions by various manners to draw multilateral results. A research method is also provided to perform a research using a research solution lent over internet. CONSTITUTION: A research system comprises a system control section (1), to which a client (information supplier) (2) and an information respondent (3) can be connected over a network, and a data base section (4) connected to the system control section (1). The system control section (1) includes a membership administration system (10), a searching and designing system (11), an investigation center (12), a question preparing system (13), a question providing browser (14), a question administration system (15), an on-line table report system (16), a respondent administration system(17), and a solution lending system (18). The membership administration (10) administrates members joined to the research cite according to contents input thereto. When a research requested is entrusted, the searching and designing system (11) plans how to perform the search, the investigation center (12) investigates the requested project to set a directions for specific questions, and then the question preparing system prepares questions according to a plan decided by the searching and designing system. The client (2) and the respondent (3) can connect to the browser (14), in order to entrust the preparation of questions and to provide responses to the prepared questions, respectively. The question administration system (15) administrates results to responded questions in a predetermined form and the on-line table report system (16) classifies and controls the responded questions based on characteristics requested by clients and provides research results in different ways according to output formats and parameters. The respondent administration system (17) administrates a case list to be supplied to members who respond to the questions. The solution lending system (18) self-implements the above research, prepares questions and then lends a research solution in order to entrusts members of the research cite with questions for finding results. Furthermore, the data base section (4) is provided with a membership administration DB (40), a respondent administration DB (41), a question data administration data base (42), a question report data base (43), a question preparation DB (44), a response-to-question DB (45), a search and design DB (46), and a service fee administration data (47).
