The acidic tin plating bath additive is an additive component (A) having an average molecular weight of 3000 to 18000 prepared by adding oxypropylene to polyoxyethylene glycol and an additive component having an average molecular weight of 300 to 1500 prepared by adding oxypropylene to polyoxyethylene glycol. It consists of (B) and the weight ratio of these additive component (A) / additive component (B) is 97 / 3-40 / 60.
