PURPOSE: A conjugate of luteinizing hormone releasing hormone and RiboNuclease(RNase) is provided, which inhibits cancer cell's growth selectively by acting on the cancer cell only, and keeps up the inhibition effect for a long time, so can be used effectively as a medicine for cancer. CONSTITUTION: A process for the inhibition of cell-growth by conjugate of luteinizing hormone releasing hormone(LHRH) and RiboNuclease(RNase) comprises the steps of: making LHRH carboxy end to have carboxyl branch; reacting the carboxyl end LHRH with EDC£1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide/HCl| to activate carboxyl branch, and reacting the activated carboxyl branch with the primary amine located on lysine amino acid side chain of RNase to get the conjugate of LHRH and RNase(LHRH-RNase A), removing unreacted EDC and LHRH, and storing at -70deg.C(the conjugate can be prepared by gene-recombinant technique); binding the conjugate LHRH-RNase A with LHRH receptor on the surface of cancer cell, then, the RNase A can be delivered into the cell, and inhibits cancer cell's growth by controlling protein synthesis.
