FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing the frontal and temporal lobes to laser bundles having 0.63 mcm and 0.89 mcm wavelength in paravertebral application to cervical region of the vertebral column. The frontal lobe is scanned during 30-60 s beginning from superciliary arches and finishing at hair growth boundary. Laser beams of 0.89 mcm wavelength and 80-1500 Hz frequency are applied twice, successively measuring depth with nonmagnetic mirror nozzles used first when penetration depth being 2-4 cm, and then axial magnetic nozzles having penetration depth of 6-8 cm. The beam penetration area is reduced in corresponding proportions. The beams are moved for scanning anterior temporal areas during 30-60 s above the zygomatic bone along the hair growth boundary to the auricle conchae. Laser beams with radial magnetic nozzles having penetration depth of 6-8 cm, are held in contact mode, when being transferred to carotid pulsation points on the neck on both sides at the same time. Laser beams with axial magnetic nozzles are moved and the cervical region of the vertebral column is scanned in contact mode at the C1-C7 vertebrae level during 2-4 min. Then laser beams with radial magnetic nozzles are applied to the area of mastoid processes on both sides at the same time during 2-4 min.
