FIELD: checking process channels and gang of distributing headers for coolant flowrate and for condition. SUBSTANCE: coolant flowrate through process channels is measured, emergency changes in flowrates being identified by physical weighing of amount of coolant consumed in process channels compared with gang of distributing manifolds; to this end, coolant flowrates in the both are measured simultaneously and deviation of measured flowrates in process channels from desired values as well as number of channels where these deviations occurred are determined by weighing changed amount of coolant consumed in process channels as referred to preset variations in flowrate through gang of distributing headers using multilevel flowrate settings for each process channel. EFFECT: improved speed of response to and reliability of detecting emergency reduction in coolant flowrates. 5 dwg
