Measurement capacitor for high voltages has a dielectric comprising an oil-impregnated combination of paper and plastic insert, having an opposite temp. characteristic w.r.t. the resulting capacitance of the capacitor. Pref. two layers of paper are used, with a layer of polyolefin or polypropylene plastic with roughened surface between them. A synthetic oil is used for impregnation. The capacitor surfaces are of Al foil.
