The racquet has a grip, a shaft and a head. The shaft (2) contains a weight (6), which is movable along part of its length. The weight is spring-loaded relative to a stop (8,9), and is charged by a spring element (10) formed of e.g. two rubber bands, with a spring force directed towards the grip (1). The tension force of the spring determines a reaction threshold for a position change of the weight. The stops define a positioning track (7). One of the stops is formed by a damper element.
