The table (1) has at least one work station (2). There is at least one half (e.g. 5) of a fixing device (4, 4') in the region of at least one outer side (7) of the table board (3). At least one work station can be fitted to the outer side of the table board. The work station has the complementary half of the fixing device attached to it.
