New spermatogenesis protein useful for investigation and modulation of spermatogenesis, particularly for diagnosis and treatment of spermatogenesis disorders

A spermatogenesis protein (I) comprising the fully defined 325 amino acid sequence or a sequence with one or more amino acid variations retaining at least 80% homology with (I), is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a DNA molecule (II) encoding (I); (2) an expression plasmid (III) containing (II); (3) a transformant (IV) containing (III); (4) production of (I); and (5) antibodies (Ab) against (I).
