The brake has an operating brake and a parking brake, an electric motor (3) for the operating brake driving a hollow brake spindle (4) that actuates a brake piston (5) and a locking unit (6) for the parking brake movable between clamping and release positions for the operating brake. The parking brake is actuated electrically and has a translational transfer rod (7) that actuates the locking unit and that is mounted in the hollow spindle and coaxial to it. The locking unit and a lifting magnet (17) are mounted on opposite ends of the transfer rod. The lifting magnet is mounted on the same side of the transfer rod as the operating brake piston in a pot-shaped aperture.
