The under-bed (1) has an inner rigid support frame (2) and at least one carrier frame arranged outside the support frame, to hold the mattress. The carrier frame is hinged to the support frame or to another carrier frame by position members (15,16), which each sit in a support shaft (17) that rotates in two supports at longitudinal bars (3) of the support frame. The supports of the support shaft are arranged under the longitudinal bars of the support frame. The position members are arranged at the ends of the support shafts projecting over the supports.
