Control device for electronic throttle flap for cars

The control device has a throttle flap (103) for an IC engine and a DC motor (8) to drive the throttle flap. There is: An H-bridge chopper (7) to control the current flowing through the motor in order to control its output torque; an analogue control unit (5) to supply a PWM control signal to the H-bridge chopper; a current detection device (9-60) to detect the current which flows intermittently through power elements of the H-bridge chopper; a device (3,16) to detect the opening of the throttle flap in order to generate a detection signal serving as a feedback signal; and a throttle flap opening control device (1,13) which contains a microcomputer with a unit to execute an opening control operation on the basis of a throttle flap opening command and a throttle flap opening detection signal in the feedback signal. When the throttle flap opening control device receives the throttle flap opening command, then executes the opening control operation in agreement with this command in order to cause the microcomputer to output a digital current command signal. The command signal transforms into an analogue signal which is passed to the analogue current control device. This controls the motor current in agreement with the analogue current command so that the motor turns, through which the opening of the throttle flap is controlled.
