Paint booth airflow control system for paint spraying in the automobile industry that incorporate air flow chambers

An automotive paint booth containing a multiple contiguous chambers (10 -25) can be supplied with down flowing air streams in the various chambers fro removing air bourne particulates produced by the painting operations. Cross flow of particulates between contiguous chambers can be controlled by slightly varying the down flow velocities in the respective chambers. An Independent claim is included for the method of operating an automotive body paint booth.
