Controller for horizontal drilling machine derives control signals for driving machine from actual and demanded values taking into account heuristic process steps using fuzzy logic

摘要

The controller has n input interface for receiving actual values of control parameters for the drilling machine (3) and an output unit for outputting control signals to the machine. A fuzzy controller (7) between the input interface and the output unit derives the control signals for driving the drilling machine from the actual values and demand values taking into account heuristic process steps using fuzzy logic. An Independent claim is also included for a method of controlling a horizontal drilling machine.
