The fluid pump has a pump unit (3) with a housing enclosing a pump mechanism, driven by an electric motor (4), supplied via a current regulator (7), via an intermediate drive transmission (2). A cooling circuit (6a,6,6b) supplied with a cooling medium is used for cooling the pump unit, the intermediate drive transmission, the electric motor and the current regulator.
