The alignment device uses a laser light source, e.g. a semiconductor laser and an optoelectronic reception device for indicating the incidence point of the laser light beam, preceded by an optical device with imaging characteristics, e.g. a synthetic hologram, a zone lens, or a Fresnel lens, alternatively acting as a beam convergence or beam divergence element. The optoelectronic reception device may be directly coupled to a computer, for calculating the alignment.
