The system has an air conditioning unit (1) with several air outlets (20-23) for blowing conditioned air towards several air conditioning zones in the passenger compartment. The unit sets the state of the air for each zone independently. Several air state change units alter the blowing state of conditioned air to be blown out of the air outlets. An air blowing control unit (50) controls the operating state of these units so that a conditioning region of at least one unit is limited for a zone on one side adjacent to another zone.
