The system has a fuel cell with an air supply line (2) and a gas outlet line (3), a spiral compressor (C) in the air supply line with a stationary (20,20a) and a movable (40) spiral, a spiral regenerator (E) in the gas outlet line with a stationary (30,30a) and a movable (40) spiral, and a motor with an output shaft. The movable spirals are made in one piece with a common base plate (40a) with first and second spiral walls (40b,40c) on opposite sides engaged with the stationary spirals. The common base plate is coupled to the motor's output shaft (Mc).
