The large scale integrated circuit (LSIC) (51) has a number of memory devices (52,53,54) and a reference potential control circuit (55) coupled to the memory devices, for controlling a reference potential within each memory device, using a trimming circuit for providing a given potential for maintaining the reference potential within a given range. Also included are Independent claims for the following; (a) a method for construction of a large scale integrated circuit; and (b) a computer-readable recording medium.
