Rear mounting for tipping cab of cab-over-engine lorry has position stabilizing device allocated to each support cantilever and associated spring strut to limit affects of actions of high vertical and horizontal forces on cab
A position stabilizing device (6) is allocated to the support cantilever(3) on each side of the vehicle and to the two associated spring struts(4,5) and limits the affects of the actions of high vertical and horizontal forces on the driver's cab. The position stabilizing device comprises a bearing bracket(7) rigidly fixed on the support cantilever and a stop(11) limiting the longitudinal movement of the cab. A travel limiting pin(12) is installed on either the bearing bracket or stop and interacts with a vertical elongated hole(13) formed correspondingly in the stop or bearing bracket to limit transverse and vertical movements of the cab and also retraction and extension of the spring strut.
