It is a permanent magnet for an actuation motor of a disk drive described. The permanent magnet comprises a curved magnet body, which is made of magnetic powder. The magnet body comprises a first segment and a second segment, which essentially are arranged side by side. Each segment has a north pole and a thereof spaced south pole. Each segment comprises a first region, which has a first region axis, which extends between the north pole and the south pole, and a second area, which surrounds the first region. It is important that the magnetic powder during the production is aligned, in order to form a powder pattern, the only area - powder lines in the first region, which are substantially parallel to the only area axis, and said second region - powder lines in the second area, the only area with respect to the axis of which are inclined or extend at an angle. Furthermore, the magnetic body a magnetisation pattern, the only area - lines of magnetisation in the first region, which are substantially parallel to the only area axis, and second region - lines of magnetisation in the second area, the only area with respect to the axis of which are inclined or extend at an angle.
