The invention concerns a winder comprising a housing (1) open at the top (107) and at the base (106), with a retractable front flap (5), an upper transverse winding spindle (8) provided with a handle for imparting rotation, guiding crosspieces (17, 18), and brushes (19-22). The bandage (16) is wound around the transverse winding spindle (9), passing between the brushes (19-22) which cleans it of bedding scraps, thereby facilitating the winding of a stable or work bandage for horses, while simultaneously cleaning it.
