The device has a box (1) having a passage (5,6) for introducing a portion of the ends of the wire sheath, with members (9) for receiving these portions in the box. There are connecting conductors (2) introduced in the box transversally to the sheaths, and having a connection slot (16-19) lodged between the two lips (20,21) forming a pair of lips spaced from each other, and formed for cooperating with the wire receiving members (9) for gripping these sheaths. Each lip is pivoted around a hinged zone extending along a pivoting axis (27) of the lip.
