CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC ACTUATORS OF VALVES OF A VARIABLE VALVE ENGINE IN PARTICULAR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A central data processor (1) is used to drive the actuators, in which are integrated grouped logic units (2). - vehicle logic units (2) receive a step input (3), for driving the engine, and different data (4) relative to the operating constraints of the vehicle so that a drive force (5) is produced ; - engine logic units (6) receive as input the drive force (5) and data (7) relative to the operating conditions of the engine so that an instantaneous working value (8) for each cylinder is produced; - combustion logic units (9), for each of the engines cylinders, receive as input the values (8) and data (10) relative to the cylinder operation, so as to deliver as output control data (11) for the actuators associated with the cylinders; - energy logic units (12) receive as input control data from the actuators so as to produce data (13) for control of the actuators, and; - control logic units (14) for the actuators receive as input the control data for operation of the actuators.
