In a refrigerator or freezer an original panel is removed and replaced by a ready to fit panel which has splined wheels (2) for height adjustment and slider tracks (3) to facilitate the movement of food compartments. The panel has a system of pipe work, automatically operated switches and valves on it's underside which enable incoming food compartments to be placed under vacuum and air to be restored to outgoing compartments.
