The front door (12) of the pressurized hold of a cargo aircraft is fitted with fixed (38,40) and movable (34,36) stops. Opening of the movable door panel (14), by pivoting upwards (F2) around an axis (32) is preceded by a translational movement (F1) allowing the displacement of the movable stops relative to the fixed stops.
